My grandpa wants to learn computer and Internet. Because of my job I do not get enough time to teach him. He doesn't want to go out and take classes. Any other easy ways?

otherwise you could try one of those "windows/computing for dummies" books.
or you could pay someone to go to his house to help him.

If he has the Windows XP operating system he could use the Interactive Training facility already loaded on his computer. It is very user friendly and talks through every task using sound and vision to demonstrate how to do things in a basic easy to understand fashion and he can easily go back and forth through the program if not sure. If he has Windows Vista, go to Vista Demos which looks very similar.
I am a great grandad and I bought my laptop 2 years ago and I think I am coping fairly well. The technician who installed it did not stay to explain anything, I went to classes for retired people but they didn't give us any 'follow-on' sheets so that we could practise what we had learnt at home. I have had 38 years teaching experience so I know that that is vital. Amongst others I bought 'The Beginners Guide to Computers and the Internet' by Susan Holden and Matthew Francis, the XP edition, ISBN 1 84024 396 1, published by Summersdale Publishers Ltd, price 5.99. For me this book got me started.
I have heard of some software which is specially designed for seniors. Don't know the details. You can check their website http://bigscreenlive.com/
I must admit 95% of what I have learnt has come from the people on a/b who have taken the time to answer us beginners ,If its any help to him what I do is copy interesting questions and answers put them in a folder then make it my first port of call if I have forgotten how to do things
all the best to him

Why not let Grandpa loose with a pc/lappie and then give him the address to here... I am sure that between them, Chuck & ACT will be able to sort out any problems he has (they are both such great gentlemen too, they never make anyone feel stooopid...lol)
You should encourage him to go to classes - there he can meet other humanoids and will probably end up having a whale of a time... and meet lots of new friends as well.
