installing nero on pc with vista

hi, has anyone here had problems installing Nero on a pc with vista? it just won't install at all - it just keeps telling me to reboot. I googled it and there are loads of forums saying others have had the same problem and they all have different solutions so not sure which to go for. I just wondered if anyone had a simple answer? The pc is brand new - had to buy it yesterday when the other one with xp finally gave up! thanks very much.

What version of Nero..

only version Nero 7.5.7.0 or later will work with vista.

we are using ( or trying to use!) version 8

Seems it was fixed by nero in version 8.1.1.1

I think if yoiu download this version of Nero 8 it should install

it would probably be a good idea to use the Nero clean tool to remove all traces of Nero from the system before trying to reinstall
