AVG Scanning Core Module

Hi folks,
I have been happily downloading from uTorrent recently. Now, when I try to download, I get the message AVG Scanning core Module Allow or Disallow. I have selected Allow, but nothing happens and I cannot continue downloading. Any ideas what this is and how I can fix it?

I use utorrent, and never had this message from avg.
Try going into tools -advanced at top of avg page, you might
be able to turn this feature off.
I`d have a look for you, but it won`t open at the moment, as I`m converting avi to dvd and it really slows down the computer.
