can anyone tell me,3 days ago pc guard failed to open,it told me to try again, if this continues uninstall then re-install,this i did only to find after broadband advisor loaded,the next message was,the feature is on cd rom or other removable disc insert disc (ive ever had a cd, disc )
its a free pc guard download as i am on size l virgin broadband,then i get error1706 no valid source could be found for product authentium sdk2 cannot contnue.so i closed down the page ,the only way was thro task manager ,my main question is,when i went to windows security centre it shows firewall on,auto updates on,virus on and scanning,there fore do i really need to put pc guard back in or norton security,i have spyware software in the machine,.

After several failures, I discovered that if I uninstalled Broadband Advisor as well I could re-install PC Guard. But if memory serves, you have to remove PC Guard, then remove Broadband Advisor (in that order), then install the latest version (which will also install Broadband Advisor again).
