I have an old 'Olivetti JP 192', that has suddenly given up the ghost, but not before throwing up an error message reading:
"THE CURRENT PRINT JOB REQUIRES A MONOCHROME OR A STANDARD COLOUR PRINT HEAD. INSTALL ONE AND CLICK OK OR CLICK CANCEL AND CHANGE YOU DRIVER SETTINGS".
The machine goes through all the correct sounds/printhead positioning etc when asked to print, but then the message - won't even print a test page. The print head is fairly new, and was working until quite recently. I've also tried to install the software on various OS systems ie: '95/'98/ME/XP, all to no avail. A couple of last points, you can't change the driver settings, or download updated driver from the net as this model is too ancient!!
