Computer locked.

We keep getting a sign up to say "This computer is locked" and only to be opened by my husband but we have forgotten the password. We are not sure what to do though because it is still letting us get onto internet and do everything else so how can it be locked?. It is just this sign that keeps popping up that is annoying

The fact that you can carry on without entering a password just means that there is no password.
At a guess, you've set yor screen saver to lock the computer when it comes on.
Right-click the desktop and choose properties
go to the Screen saver tab
Untick the box "On resume, password protect"
Click OK
