disk clean up not working on windows xp

My disk clean up goes up 4 bars then stopped working. I now keep getting a yellow triangle flashing on bottom of screen saying virtual memory running low. What can I do please. Thanx in advance

also consider loosing some of the cr@p on your disk

be hard ... uninstall all those progs you "just might" need in the next 10 years

put all those photo's on dvd/cd
and same with your mp3s

aim for 50% free

your computer virtual memory is set as low so change the virtual memory settings.

right click on my computer icon and select the properties.
select the advanced tab select the virtual memory settings and change the virtual memory size.

the minimum size should be one and half of the RAM and the maximum should be three times of the RAM size.

click ok and apply.

restart the computer .

run the disk clean up.
