Have got Freecorder which records any sounds playable through the pc.
A website plays a tune that is crystal clear, record it via freecorder, but when played back, it's got this terrible crackle going through it!
Any ideas?

On the FreeCorder tool bar select SETTINGS.
Put a tick in the top and bottom squares in next panel then select the Windows device by clicking on the Down arrow to the right of the DEVICE label.
Click Record on Tool bar, start the music, etc .
You may find that the sound is jerky due to buffering when recording but the playback is fine.
