Volume Fluctuates

Can anyone help please?
When listening to music via my computer (both online and CD) the volume fluctuates. I have 5:1 surround sound......although 2 of the speakers ONLY work on the sound check and do not work at all in normal use???
I have checked all the connections etc and could do with some help now :)

You need to re-install you sound driver.
You can download sound driver from your computer vendor web site.

your drivers are not working properly so update the sound drivers .

check all the connectors first.

set the surround sound system as the volume properties.

check all the speakers manually with the sound software.

your computer sound drivers may be corrutped so unistalled the sound drives from the add and remove programs.

reinstalled the sound drivers.
check the power cable of the comptuer

speaker power should be on

volume should not be muted

check the speakers.
