Emailing MS word documents
Hi
I use MS Office 2007 and would like to be able to send a Word document direct by clicking send/email. I use Mozilla Firefox as my email but want to know how to set it up for use with Word documents rather that sending a separate email with the document as an attachment. Is this possible or do I have to set up Outlook or Outlook Express?

Microsoft Office includes a scripting language called Visual Basic Applications (VBA). It allows every aspect of Microsoft Office to be controlled plus the ability to start other programs.
MAPI enabled email programs have functionality to build and messages from an external command. The body text can be passed to the mailer in this process.
The VBA just needs to execute a MAPI interaction with the mailer.
I would be surprised if someone hasn't already written a VBA script to do eaxctly what you want. Try Googling MAPI VBA Thunderbird.
