Firefox bookmarks

Whenever I add to my bookmarks they simply don't appear!
Is there a limit to the number of bookmarks that can be held I do have a great number of them?

Not sure how many you can have Lertnik, but get rid of the ones you don't use and try again.

No limit, but if you want them to appear on your bookmarks toolbar, be sure to click 'bookmarks toolbar' and not 'add to bookmarks'.
