errors on internet explorer

I keep getting a message saying INTERNET EXPLORER HAS ENCOUNTERED A PROBLEM AND HAS TO CLOSE. Why is this happening, and how can I prevent it? Who should I contact?

Click start > all programs > accessories > system tools > internet explorer (no add-ons)

See if you still have the problem, if it's OK like that then you know that it is one of your add-ons that is causing the problem. if so then dissable all add-ons and then start turning them back on one by one to narrow down which one is causing the problem

Hi, must be from Wales with name like that lol. I have had a few problems over the years with the different IE versions.
If you try what ChuckFickens says and you still can't get it to work properly what I usually do is delete IE from the PC then reinstall it. That usually works. Worth a try if all else fails.

Yes, theshedman, Llanelli Scarlets! Most of this season been a little embarassed of my username, but last two games perked me up a bit. Thanks for your suggestions, will give it a go.
