deletion of printer

I have tried several times and by different ways to delete a printer which I no longer have. It just refuses to go. Each time a message comes up "do you want to send this item to the recycle box" but nothing happens.
Any sugestions?

Open up your list of printers, highlight the one you don't want and press delete. You should get a message like "Are you sure you want to delete the printer...." rather than it mentioning the recycle bin.

this is exactly one of the ways I tried to do when nothing happened. Again I persevered and it now has finally vanished. Thank you.

I wonder if it thought something was still queued up to print? Anyway, glad you got it sorted.
