Hi. using Firefox browser. Tried to open a PDF file and it created a quick succession of 'untitled' tabs near the top of my screen. Couldn't stop them . . . . .

Eventually it stopped itself. And there were 59 tabs open!!!

Any suggestions how to avoid his happening, please?

I have never had this problem, but I always use this Firefox addon to control pdfs:

BTW - I've not had any of the problems mentioned in the reviews of this addon, but there are over 15,000,000 users.
