Hi there

I am trying to burn some data DVDs

DVD -Rs are just fine

DVD +Rs though are failing with "Power Calibration is Full"

I have used two different burning programs and more than one disk - always getting the same error

What am I doinng wrong (and what on earth does "Power Calibration is Full" mean anyway??

The power calibration area (PCA) is a special section on the blank disc that the burner uses to find the correct laser power to use when burning your data

more than one disc - but from the same cake? or different mfrs

on discs that are brand new - but with different progs

it's got to be either the disc or the burner - different discs are cheaper to try

thenif no joy - a new burner.

OK, at least this is somehting to work with

All my DVD -Rs are fine

The three DVD +Rs (all from the same cake) all failed (in nthe same burner) with the same error

I'll try some more tests
