My computer or answerbank ?

On several occasions over the past few days when I click on an answer to various questions on here advertising such as GFT Global Market and different insurance companies come up. Is this happening to anyone else ?

It is happening to all of us I'm afraid so we will have to grin and bear it !!!!!!!!

We do not have to grin and bear it.I have managed to stop it completely using the pop-up blocker in IE.

Hi,moonshadow & all, I keep getting pages from Curry's - '3' and other sites trying to sell me electronics mobiles etc. I have pop-up blocker but they still get through. I thought I had been invaded by some sort of virus but now realise it's down to AB. At least I can stop running extra scans now I know what's causing it It's a pain !!!

This site is basically nothing but advertising. Answerbank is just a small offshoot of this.

As I said in my previous message you need to enable the pop-up blocker that is built into your Internet Explorer (if that is the browser you use).I have not had a single pop-up advert since I did that.......set it to block ALL pop-ups.Or you could use Mozilla Firefox as your browser as that also has an ad blocker that works against these annoying half page pop-ups.
