transferring photos to dvd to watch on tv

I have transferred my digital photos to dvd and cd in order to view them on tv but with both metods I just get the message "unsupported file". how can I overcome this? (windows xp)..thanks

Did you you just use the XP operating system? Or do you have any special software?

You may download this photo to dvd burner for a try .I always use it to make slideshow and burn it to DVD to play on my home DVD player, it's easy to use and works pretty well for me.
