make page expand?

Meant to ask how to expand a page on screen. The square box between the - and the red x cannot be accessed.

Double left click on blue bar at top of screen,or:

Right click (on same blue bar) > Select maximise - minimise etc.

thanks - the problem is the square box is not accessable. What settings do I need to change to fix.

You don't need any settings to fix it - just click on the 'restore down button' (the two overlapping squares) beside the red X (close button),as you called it,and it should reappear.
