I downloaded and subsequently uninstalled frostwire.

Despite this, on start up I still get a message saying the following;

One or more of the necessary files appear to be invalid.
This is generally caused by a corrupted installation.
Please try downloading and installing frostwire again;.........

I don't wish to download frostwire again, and their help and support forums have not come up with the answer as to how to get rid of this message.

Any help would be appreciated.

Often when programs don't completely uninstall the best way of finishing the process is as it to download & install again (as it says) - then uninstall. Sometimes it is is the uninstall part of the original file that is corrupted . Personally I'd do as it says .
