Hi
I would be grateful if any person who knows about Winamp
would give me some help.
I am trying to find out how many of the installed folders
and files I can delete without affecting the basic function
of the program.
If you're trying to save HDD space I'd look somewhere else, at best it's only going to save you a couple of MB
if your install is much larger than about 25Mb then you probably have one of the multi language versions installed, remove it a install the english only version from the website

Thanks for replying. It is to do with file count not space. My anti-spyware is now taking over 3 hours to do full scan on C drive. I want to get this down and am looking at newly installed programs. I note that Winamp has a sub-folder called plugins with a lot of files. Can I get rid of any or all of these or any other part of it? I installed it to listen to some internet radio from www.shoutcast.com as that site said I needed it.
if you really want to get rid of some files from the wnamp folder then create another folder, move the files to that and see if everything still work, if it doesn't you can put them back.
