Epson Stylus Photo 870 fails to print colour.

My Stylus photo isn't showing any error lights, and all the cartridges are showing nearly full. When I try to print a coloured image from Paint Shop Pro I select colour on the printing details, but the image in the print window is in black and white, and that is how it prints.
I am using Windows XP. I replaced the black cartridge today. The colour test print is normal.
Help!

You write that you have selected colour on the printing details but is that in the PSP dialogue box only and not within the printer Properties? If the printer properties are set to print Black they will overide the PSP properties.
