Why do I keep having to sign in?

On all my sites saved in favouriteson my AOL I have usually only had to sign in once and click the save box and then don't have to sign in again. Recently though when I go into all my favourites it is not saving my log in, even on facebook and it means I have to keep logging in. Have I clicked on something I shouldn't have or could there be another reason for this only it is very annoying! Any help would be appreciated. The only thing I can remember doing by the way is updating IE7 to IE8.

Select Internet Options from the Tools menu and on the first tab, General, is a section labelled 'Browsing History' in which there is a tick box to clear browsing history on exit (browser history includes cookies, as it says in the description). Make sure that this is not ticked before OKing
