Looking to buy Laptop for surfing net and general use not business use, roughly about £350, can anyone recommend what ones to look at?

I'd personally avoid places like PC World, and buy online at places like ebuyer.com and amazon.co.uk.

Acer, Asus, Toshiba, Samsung, Lenovo, are all good. Dell aren't too bad either.

Any will do what you want. Ideally, look for at least 1GB RAM, ideally 2GB. The more hard drive space, the better. Look for at least the 120GB range.
