whenever I open Google using my desktop icon it opens at half size, how do I change it so it opens normaly using the whole screen?

drag the edges to fill the screen - next time you open Google it should be full size

Thanks lilsecret, tried it 3 times but it still opens as other programmes do about quarter size, opens fully when I click the square box though.

Mine does that sometimes Toureman, and by clicking the square box it goes full size

Try right clicking on the icon for it & select properties. click on the shortcut tab & in the run box make sure maximised is checked, apply & it should then open maximised each time.
