I am looking for a notebook for my daughter for xmas, found one but it doesnt have a flash player is has java vm, am not laptop minded and know very little, does anyone know if this java vm will run youtube, all my daughter wants a laptop it for is msn, facebook and youtube. would be good if someone could answer this before I go ahead and buy it ... thanks

What an odd question! (and I mean no disrespect by that)

but how on earth did flash not being installed but Java is crop up while your shopping for a laptop?

Anyhow, as AV said, Flash, and Java, MSN etc are all things that can be downloaded for free.
