I'm trying to run an ADF file using Winuae2000 (yeah I know - a blast from the past! must be the time of year) but I have no idea how to configure the emulator to recognise and load up the file. I'm getting a system rom is not installed? It's an old favourite from the 80's I'd like to revisit so any help with this would be greatly appreciated. Bit of a long shot asking this question maybe, but surely someone out there can help me?

You need the Amiga Kickstart ROM.

Kickstart was a chip that was something between a bios and part of an operating system. Thanks to the Kickstart, most of the programs (games, utilities etc) could boot directly from disk, without needing an O/S (Workbench in the case of the Amiga) to be loaded first.

Unfortunately the file is still subject to copyright so you'll have to do some extensive Google searching to find somewhere that is willing to host it! Alternatively, you can purchase Amiga Forever (http://www.amigaforever.com/) for around US$30 which comes with it.
