Laptop calendar

I have an Acer laptop, on start up it shows a calendar, but it is stuck on Dec 31st 2009, how do i get it to show 2010 calendar, or if not possible can i delete the 2009 one? TIA.

If your laptop shows the time at the bottom right of your screen,
right click it and on the menu that appears click on adjust time/date
