Nero 8 burning

How do I burn a DVD from movie files on my computer using Nero 8.
I open Nero 8 and the option isn't there.
I've looked at the help pages but it doesn't seem to be there,unless, as is the case now, manufacturers think every one is a computer genius.
Any help welcome.Thank you in advance

This is the Nero tutorial for compiling and burning files.

It does say however that Nero Essential Se does not have the capability to make movies. Which version do you have.

Hi.All I know is that it's nero 8. I clicked on your link and there's nothing in the bullet list that suggests burning a movie from hard drive to cd/dvd.

The Nero component you need to start with is Nerovision. This is part of Nero 8 suite (but not Nero Burning ROM) Open up Nerovision from Startsmart panel or Program Files, and select DVD, check you have the text that says you heve the DVD plugin installed ok. Go through the tabs .. there is a bit of help there.
