hi i am using microsoft outlook for the mail, now as my machine has to go to the doctor, can i drag and drop the folders i have made in there into my portable hardrive. thank you

Could you not try to copy one of the files to your portable hard drive?? (press and hold Control while you drag and drop)
If you can copy one,then surely you would be able to transfer them all???
