tranfer hot mail music to i -tunes

help i have been sent a piece of music to my hot mail i have downloaded it to an icon and now want to transfer it to my i- tunes ,iv'e also got it on real player but cant get it to my i-tunes also have put it to my favourites yet it wont transfer

|If you haven't done this before then you need to complete one step first. Open iTunes, then click iTunes in the top menu, then Preferences. Click advanced in the preferences window. Tick "Copy files to iTunes media folder....". This will put your tune in the iTunes folder when you add it. You only need to do this step once.
To add your tune click file in the iTunes menu, then click Add to library, navigate to your tune and click Choose.
