How do I go about obtaining and installing the various add -ons for the above - e.g AdblockPlus etc

On the Mozailla add-on page https://addons.mozill...US/firefox/addon/1865 you see this http://tinyurl.com/yf2mqtu near the top? - click on it and with the left button wtill depressed drag it to the task bar. That is the easiest way to install it.

click tools > add ons then click on "get add ons" at the top and search for whatever add on you want, once you've found it click install
