"Browser Choice" pop-up on my PC at start-up
When I turned my PC on last night, I got a large message window giving me some schpeel about "Browser Choice". It looked pretty "official", but I had never seen it before and so was very wary of it.
Although I closed the window in question down without accepting any of the suggested "actions", I now have a shortcut on my desktop entitled "Browser Choice". When I check the "Properties" of said shortcut, it tells me that it has downloaded something to/as "C:\Windows\system32\browserchoice.exe\launch
".
Is this a scam/worm/trojan/virus?

But there is always the possibility that someone might have tried to take advantage of the situation so the maybe you should do a scan to be absolutely sure.
