I would like to add my Avatar to my posts, how is this done please?

Go to http://en.gravatar.com/ and register, using the same email address which you used in order to register with the Answerbank. Follow the instructions to associate an avatar with that address.

Then go to 'My Profile' and 'Edit User Details'. Tick the box to make your avatar active. Click 'Submit'. (You might also need to log out, and then in again, in order to see your avatar).
