Laptop Tv Tuner

I have recently bought a tv tuner for my laptop, with the plan to taking it on holiday. We are staying in an appartment within a complex, where each appartment has a telly. Presuming that the propertier has purchased a tv licence would I be able watch live tv on my laptop in another room?? Or do I need to buy my own tv licenece to cover myself and the device??

I would assume that the owner of the place has a license and wouldn't worry about that.

remember you need some sort of antenna to watch TV as well as a tuner, and the little internal antennas that come with laptop TV tuners are pretty crap so you may not be able to pick up a signal. only way to know would be to try at the location though.
