one at a time please (unasked slideshow mode)
2 Answers
I have a three years or so old version of Vista.
When I look at photos in My Pictures it automatically goes into slideshow mode after a while, if I've been looking at several photos in a row. I can get back to let-me-click-one-at-a-time mode by pressing Escape, but is there a setting somewhere I can do to prevent it from going into slideshow mode by its own decision?

It's pathetic even when it's working properly! Switch to using Irfanview (which is vastly superior) and you can completely forget about your current problem. (It's totally free!):
