Prt Scrn (top right of your keyboard) then 'paste' into photoshop/Word etc.
alt + print screen (may be labeled prt scn or similar) and then paste it into something like MS paint or any other program that will deal with pictures.
try pressing the prnt scrn button on your keyboard then right click and paste into a blank word document.
and from there, if you only want a small part of the screen, crop it. Oh and if you only need part of the screen, be careful to move the cursor out of the way of what you need.
...annoying isn't it ;-)

Thanks all

On my laptop the 'prt sc' key also has 'home' above it on the key

Do I need to use shift - prt sc?
nope just go to the page you want, hit prt sc then open Word (or paint or similar) then edit/paste
Install Screen Captor - no charge. Find webpage, right click Screen Shot on Taskbar or Start menu, select Active Window, click File, click Preview, click Print, click Properties for paper size and Landscape, click OK, select to print page 1 then click OK. This works on my XP.
if you are using Firefox then Aviary https://addons.mozill.../firefox/addon/11587/ is an add-on that lets you capture part of the browser page, the visible part of the page or the entire page (i.e. including anything that you'd have to scroll up/down to see).

Only drawback is that it's a bit limited as to where you can save the image (it would be nice to be able to choose a folder).
I am sorry - it should have been ScreenshotCaptor.
