I'm no expert but I know that if you press ctrl and the + or - key it alters the size if that does not work I'm afraid you'll have to wait for one of the real experts
It's not the little percentage thing in the bottom right corner of the screen is it? Normally on 100%, you should be able to click it back with the little down arrow symbol to what you want.
I have to have my percentage do-dah on 125% prudie otherwise I can't see a bl**dy thing!
I would too lardy if I didn't have my off-the-shelf reading glasses!

Thanks Paddywak it sorted it for me. Thanks Lardy and Prudie,my percentage thingy is at 100%. It's also taking ages to do anything on this tonight, The light on my laptop is flicking all the time busy as if its downloading or something, the cursor is jumping, and when I type it types two letters then I have to wait for it to catch up. I think I'll have to switch off for tonight soon it's driving me nuts,
You little technophobe gran - well done paddywak. Help the aged are grateful to you!
Glad you're partly sorted, I was worried you wouldn't be able to read the replies!!!
wot browser r u on ayg ?
AYG. Laptops probably downloading/installing updates. Let it do it's thing for a while, or it'll start all over again tomorrow!
Question Author
I thought I wouldn't be able to see what you said. It's never stopped all night, I'm not a bit technical at all, I have windows tambo but I'm not sure what browser I'm on, (feel like a stupid t*t). All it ever does is want to install updates. But thank you all for your help hopefully it will stop soon.
ayg Windows is your operating system.

browser = Internet Explorer, Firefox, AOL, Safari, or what connects you to the internet ? Sounds to me you have a virus (a conflict thru you internet connexion).
Try System Restore and put in yesterday's date. Start>Help and support>System Restore.

I'm on internet explorer tambo. Still having bother. If I have a virus how do I get rid of it? Thanks vignon I'll try that.
when it wants to install updates gran do you allow it to switch off when it has done so and not before?
Gran, have you any internet protection if not AVG is good and it's a free down load just google AVG and you'll find it. if you dont feel confident have you got somebody who can help you? a grandson/daughter nephew/niece perhaps As anybody on site will tell you if you're using the web regularly you need good anti-virus protection
You do when bob is posting - that's for sure
He's not that bad ttfn, well most of the time he isn't
Question Author
Your'e right ttfn, I usually let it do the updates etc then it closes itself down.but there are always one or two waiting to get on when I'm using it and I cancel them until later.

Paddywak I've just lost my internet protection (Norton has run out) and I've yet to renew it. I don't have anyone handy to help me out with this, my daughter lives 150 miles away. I'll try AVG as you suggest (seeing as its free). I'll wait until tomorrow now as I'm going to have to go to bed. goodnight and thank you for your patience.
night gran - hope to catch you tomorrow x
