If you're going to be using it a lot on the move, then battery life, size and weight will be important.
If you're going to use it mainly in the same place, get as big as screen as you want.
Do you need a cd or dvd drive?

I meant Barrys first link, not the second one (which is a netbook, so has a very low power processor and no CD drive)

BestBuy have a Toshiba at £249 at the moment. See tab 1 on home page. It is low powered but you cant complain at that price.
