Laptop Doesnt charge and power up anymore
1 Answers
I have had my Medion Laptop for about three years now without any real problems. However, about two months ago my Laptop just stopped charging and powering up. Its totally dead. For about 3 months previous, it seemed as though something was wrong as the actual charger part that fits into the laptop seemed to struggle to find a charge. I was having to fiddle about and twist it for it to start charging. Eventually after It started charging I would have to be careful not to move the charger cable incase the charge went off. It was pretty annoying but at least it worked. But lately, even fiddling about with it would not work until it eventually died altogether. The green light shows up on the charger box which leads me to believe its either something in my laptop or something on the actual bit of the charger that fits into the laptop.
Does anybody know a solution to this and whether its going to cost a lot of money?
Also please forgive my lack of knowledge on this matter, I know next to nothing about this sort of thing.
Thanks in advance.

Not a particularly tricky job to replace it and the parts are normally cheap (under £5), the hardest part is physically getting access to it though, the laptop normally needs to be pretty much totally stripped down.
I normally charge about £40 - £50 to change them.
