Hi, could anyone please give me step by step instructions on how to import my photos from 'my pictures' into Picasa? I have done it in the past, but it takes me ages, and on trying today it came up 'Picasa had a problem loading these file(s), would you like to hide on disk. What does this mean please? there were 5small videos in the folder, which they earlier said were corrupt, could this be the problem? Apart from the videos I would still like to learn how to import pics properly anyway. TIA rosy

In the File menu the 2nd item down is "Add Folder to Picasa..." which lets you set which folders it will keep a check on.

Thank you for replying bibblebub, but I tried that, and ticked 'scan once' then the whole page disappeared and just left me with the desktop pic. rosy
