Could someone please help me with my computer problem.

I've had to use my neighbors computer as I've tried to use my computer this morning and was faced with a strange sight which was the words "Btopenzone.com" inside on the left of my url bar. Any site I now try and go to it immediately goes straight to this site and will not let me go on any other site I've even tried to change browsers but the same thing happens. Does anyone know how to achieve normal function once again? And why has bt used this aggressive guerilla marketing tactic usually used by spammers to sell their wares?

Dunno really but if you go into internet options general tag the Large box should say ''About Blank'' it may say btopenreach if so choose the about blank option.

I've successfully done this but cant remember the exact circs

Thanks anacryp but I cant seem to find "Internet options" where is this situated? ( I have an applemac)

Your wireless is connected to a BTopenzone hotspot and not your own wireless.

Reconnect to your own wireless and all will be fine.

Thank you so very much chuckfickens I was getting worried that someone or something had infiltrated my computer. I think really need to savvy up on basic computer knowledge.
