I am looking for a good printer/copier at a reasonable (or cheap) price....Someone has recommended a Canon MP 250 at £34.99 from Argos. Are they good, or is there better for the price ? Thanks in advance, John. Incidentally it will be used very little (printing the odd discounted meal voucher etc,).

\i bought a HP printer/copier/scanner
model F2180 for £20.00.
great machine no problems.
Don't forget the cost of cartridges.
Canon printers are very good and quite sufficient for home use.
Depends what you want(need) and what you have at the moment. Do you want printing in mono or colour? What sort of resolution do you need? Are you looking for laser or inkjet?
Like someone said, check out the cost of cartridges. If all makers had to state typical cost per page using a predetermined test sample, it would be so much easier to compare. As it is, you will find the cost of replacing cartridges is often more costly than a cheap printer
I have an Epson Stylus SX215 3 in 1 printer. Cost £50 in ARGOS. My local pc shop sells perfectly good compatible inks for 315 for 4 cartridges.
Prints really good photos. Canon in my opinion are a wee bit dearer.
I meant £15 for 4 cartridges.
