Hi,
sometimes get advertising from senders who have the same E mail address as myself, and the same provider. How do they manage this and is it possible to stop.

It's easy to do, the reply address shown on an email can be entered by the user and can be any address they want, including the same address as the mail is sent to.

No, you can't stop it.
