Thats strange then-wonder if the Ed is aware of this?
Hope theyre looking in.
Me too!
Glad to see it's not just me then.
post this under Suggestion or email the Ed and ask what's up. Maybe it's one of SAB's dark plots. Maybe the Pope is behind it.
funny you should say that dris.....
i've just had an alert too, and yesterday we did a major clearout of my computer as it was behaving very badly and we got rid of 3 out of 6 we were notified about.
my other half doesn't go on answerbank on his computer and doesn't have these problems so we had come to the conclusion that it's this site which causes most problems. we're both very active on both our computers but it does seem answerbank which gets the most virus type things.
shame isn't it but i really don't know what can be done.

I'll post under suggs with this link then as this is the first time Answerbank' has been the culprit for me anyhow.
I haven't had anything (yet), is it cos I is on Firefox?
I haven't had any problems so far
The page you are trying to access has been identified as a known exploit, phishing, or social engineering web site and therefore has been blocked for your safety. Without protection, such as that in the AVG Security Toolbar and AVG, your computer is at risk of being compromised, corrupted or having your identity stolen. Please follow one of the suggestions below to continue.

I was using 'Chrome' but have now switched to Firefox.
Hello,

Thank you for bringing this issue up. Our technical team are looking into this as we speak and we should have the problem resolved soon.

I will post updates here when I get them.

Thanks Ed.
'a known social engineering website'... that sounds deeply suspicious, if only I knew what it meant. Is that like dating, or genocide?
It's nothing serious, it's picking up tracking cookies, which are a slight privacy issue (only to overly paranoid people TBH) but they are not a cause for concern otherwise.
