open office keeps crashing!! whys that??

I´vebeen using OO more often recently eg every other day instead of weekly. but it seems to be crashing now far too often. any simple explanation?

been happening to me too - i find that i have to use the task manager to kill off copies of soffice that are hanging around in the background and without making themselves visible

Why use Open Office when you can use a free version of Microsoft Office 2010 . It is available to use from Microsoft as a cloud based application . Its features are cut down versions of the paid version but are able to be used the same. They are called Microsoft Office Apps.

i´d like to use the freeby microsoft office 2010, but i´ve now lost patience with microsoft. i´ve actually lost count of times i´ve tried to download it without success.

I'm not familiar with Open Office but I know when I've had problems with Office in the past it's usually because I haven't done any updates for a while and alot of the updates are there to fix bugs. Check if there are any updates and install them them.
