I had to re-install my operating system yesterday. Some bits were 'missing' due to what I am sure was a virus that got under my security about 3 months ago and has been causing me one problem after another since.

Anyway, all has gone well, except that some of the keys on my keyboard are not displaying true. For example: when I press the @ it displays the ", and vice versa. When I press the pound sign, I get the hash, but when I press the hash, I get backslash. Goodness knows where the pound sign has gone.

How do I fix it? Thanks much guys. Helen

Thank you...Thank you....All fixed!
You can usually set the language during the Windows install.

Next time during install look out for the window where you say it is a UK keyboard.
