Avatar Querie
I have just Googled `Avatars` and have found an Avatar other than my own good looks, ahem, and would like to know, in very simple terms, (for other users less in the wonderful knowledge of computers than myself,of course...... cough...cough, and spit,) How do I get `AVATAR` to transfer it to AnswerBank please? TIA

Basically you have to register at http://en.gravatar.com/site/signup/ and make sure that you use exactly the same email address there as you use here on AB - that is what connects the two sites so make sure that it is the same in both places. Once you have loaded a picture at gravatar.com it should take just a few minutes for it be available for display here, and make sure that it is activated on your AB profile.

I can't remember exactly what it says but there is a page which asks you to go and look for your new avatar and select it, then it adds it to your avatar page on Gravatar and asks you which account you want it to apply to - then a page comes up which says "check this avatar" and warns you that it may take up to 10 mins to refresh. Then you come back here and update your profile. That's what I did - but first, I went onto my profile and deactivated the previous one (peacock) so I could upload the new one (poppy).
