Latest ios, ipod touch and printing......
I've just upgraded my ipod touch to ios 4.2 expecting to see the new printing options
But I don't
For email it should be on the reply/forward menu - it's not there
Do I need to do anything else????
The manual is no help
But I'm sure someone here is a genius.......
Thanks
Phil G

Turns out, iPod Touch 2g (like mine) doesn't support AirPrint :(

in this first release there are only a limited number of HP printers that are available for printing. Go here to check http://www.apple.com/...eatures/airprint.html
But that doesn't answer my question!
I don't see ANYWHERE a "print" option
Unless you are saying I don't GET the print button/icon or whatever if I don't have a compatible printer available?
I'd more expect an error message if I tried to print to an unsupported printer (which I can't even try - I don't have ANY print buttons/icons!)

Sorry Phil. In mail tap the action button (curved arrow pointing left) print should be at the bottom of the choices, Safari's action button is a curved arrow pointing right, as is Photo's action button. Safari's button is on the each screen, mail and photo buttons appear when you have selected the email or photo you want
