emails not coming in from virgin

i am using os xp and ntlword as my service provider, it says 7 of 32 emails coming in, 11 of 32 mails 120kb of 14.4mb, yet nothing is showing in my inbox or anywhere, i have done a system restore, and defragged but still no change, anyone help me please, what is going on, thank you

Log onto the web mail at virgins site and delete any unwanted emails and then try again.
