CD burning

I am trying to burn a cd. It worked ok three days ago but now .....! I keep getting "insert blank disk" All the disks I am using are blank. What has upset the wretched machine?
Advise much appreciated.

How big is the file you are trying to burn? Will it fit one one CD?

It is a music cd - double album.

Are they up correct way?
Is burner still recognised ok in Device Manager.
Several failed read attempts will disable burner temporarily .. Restart the PC.

Wil a double album fit on one CD?? Some burners can be fussy if you try to spread it over one disc.

Thanks, I will try the device manager. I've tried over two days so I've restarted.
